Nonna Luna
Come una volta, Nonna Luna arriva/ Dalla finestra carica/ di storie e memorie
Coraggio, figliola, /Non aver paura/Ti farò compagnia/ Ovunque tu sia! /
Nonna luna/ racconta e canta/ poesie che fanno sentire/ a casa in terra straniera.
Ed ecco come Samuele l’ha tradotta ed elaborata:
Like once upon a time /Here comes grandmother moon. /Its gentle light welcoming,/ Breaking up the darkness,/ Shining a path to life, and safeness
The warmness of its light engulfs me
My worries are burned /But my hopes shine through the night/ Grandmother moon / Looks over us /Keeps us company
That makes us feel / At home in a strange land
