Dopo un breve accenno agli aspetti giuridici che definiscono che cos’è la pubblicità viene presentata una sintesi della sua evoluzione storica: dall’impero romano all’era di internet. Si presentano poi i passi fondamentali della strategia pubblicitaria: la creazione dell’annuncio pubblicitario e la selezione dei mezzi pubblicitari. In particolare nella creazione del messaggio pubblicitario si illustra il modello “AIDA” acronimo di attenzione, interesse, desiderio, acquisto. Si descrive inoltre uno degli aspetti psicologici determinanti nel comportamento d’acquisto : la percezione. A supporto della creazione pubblicitaria viene presentato il documento che contiene la strategia creativa della campagna pubblicitaria: La copy strategy documento che
descrive a chi rivolgiamo il messaggio, (Target) quale promessa/beneficio comunichiamo, come desideriamo comunicarlo, la ragione per cui il consumatore deve preferire il nostro prodotto e non quello della concorrenza, ed ultimo la reazione che vogliamo ottenere dal consumatore. A conclusione della presentazione vengono proiettati e commentati due spot televisivi a forte impatto emotivo.
